Biogas Stations

Produced during the anaerobic digestion of a mixture of livestock and agricultural crop residues.

Biogas comes from the anaerobic digestion of a mixture of livestock waste and crop residues (such as cattle manure, silage maize, etc.). Its energy content is 5.5-7 kWh/m3 and is used as a fuel in internal combustion engines, gas burners and/or turbines for the production of electricity and heat. The provision of raw materials is a key factor in the efficiency and viability of the unit.
